Welcome to the official website of Vong's Taekwondo Academy (VTA), founded by Master Michael Vong, Kukkiwon certified 5th Dan degree black belt, World Taekwondo (TKD) - Olympic style.

In 2003, Master Vong founded Lorette TKD club in Manitoba under Grand Master Kang.  In 2009 he founded Rockland YMCA Taekwondo club in Ontario under Grand Master Lee. The VTA was established in 2018 and is committed to the traditional values taught by TKD founders and Master Vong's instructors - Grand Master Park, Grand Master Kang, and Grand Master Lee. It is through his humble spirit that students are privileged to learn the meaning of a true Martial Artist. 

Master Vong has a passion for excellence and you can be assured that you will receive the best training you deserve, for you, your children and grand children. Master Vong takes pride in his students and has produced outstanding athletes at championships, who prove over and over again, their technical skill, expertise and leadership from his clubs.

Master Vong dedicated his life to the promotion and the development of TKD. From the late 1980's up until now, he has been devoted his time and energy to learning, teaching, and demonstrating his technical skills to TKD students. He is inspired and still is actively competing in Ontario Provincial TKD Black Belt Championships. 

Master Vong has a unique ability to teach, his unselfish willingness to share his knowledge instills that passion for TKD in the hearts and minds of his students. In addition, as a public servant, Master Vong stresses the importance of education - stay in school mentality, linguistic duality - English and French and physical fitness.
